Not much going on today. Busy here at work but not as bad as it will be tomorrow, so yay I guess? Cold and damp out, too. The "Arctic Front" they were talking about blew through earlier today so it's supposed to be seriously cold until like, Friday or something. And, they're calling for a chance for some icy type shit over the next couple of days. There was supposed to be a city-sponsored New Year's Eve thingie downtown tomorrow night but they decided to cancel because of the weather. So I guess we'll see what ends up happening, lol.

So let's see. Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I hung out and chatted with TH at work for a while. Went to bed around 9:00 or so and woke up when he got home a little after 3:00. Hung out with them, made some queso type stuff with some of the leftover ham for dinner, then took another quick nap. And now I'm at work. Yay.

December 29

Sunday Monday night, back at work. Still feels weird saying that, lol. Still kinda busy but not as bad as it has been since I guess at least most people are back at work. For a day or two, at least. It's almost freaking New Year's Eve though and that is going to be fucking insane. Sigh. I can handle it. I'm tough. Lol :-P It's nice and cool out tonight. We're supposed to get another cold front through here sometime tomorrow that will seriously drop the temperatures for the next few days. They're talking chances of like, freezing rain and shit. So it could get interesting :-/

So let's see. I was tired when I got home Friday morning and we didn't have to go take care of the kitties so I took a nap. Got up around noon or so and TK and I went by Walgreen's and CVS to look around and HEB for a few little last minute things. Stopped by the liquor store for provisions (lol) and a small bottle of TH's favorite whiskey to put in his stocking. Got home and hung out until TH got home, made the chocolate pies for Saturday, did some cleaning and stuff, hung out with him for a while and had Hot Pockets for dinner, then stayed up for a little bit trying to play with TK but fucking Xbox Live got hacked (again!) so we couldn't. So I gave up and went on to bed.

December 25

Christmas Day. Woohoo. Busier than shit here at work again. But at least it's finally Thursday night!! I swear this has been the longest fucking week ever, And of course next week will be even worse because of fucking New Year's Eve. If I can just survive that I'll be alright. Sigh...

So let's see. Got home this morning and TK was awake so we hung out for a while and played a little GTA V. Went to bed way too late and woke up when TH got home at 4:30. He had stopped by 7-11 to pick up a couple of their little pizzas for dinner. They're super cheap and surprisingly good. So that was cool. Ate a couple of pieces of pizza, hung out with TH and TK for a little bit, then took another quick nap. And now I'm at work. And I am soooooo freaking tired :-/

So tomorrow is Friday and normally we would go take care of the kitties but they all got adopted yesterday so there aren't any at the store! So that's cool, lol. We still need to go by HEB or something and pick up just a couple of things but I'm thinking that if I'm still this tired when I get off in the morning I may just try to get a nap first. Dunno. Because I definitely need a nap at some point so I can try to go drive tomorrow night. Then Saturday we do our little Christmas thing. Should be fun :-)

Happy freaking Christmas Eve :-P It's cold again tonight and busier than shit at work. Sigh. I am so ready for this whole holiday shit to be over and everything to go back to normal. Today is also my dad's birthday, so there's that. He is (would be? Not really sure) 74, I think. But's that's a long story for another time...

So let's see. Stopped by Walgreen's and HEB really quick on my way home this morning. I was kinda looking for a couple of those little chocolate oranges but no bueno. I did at least get some Hot Pockets for breakfast, lol. We're not doing the whole Christmas thing until Saturday so I can look around at a couple more places before then. Hopefully I can find some to put in the stockings. Got home and TK was asleep so I hung out and talked to TH at work for a while. Went to bed around 10:00 or so and got up at 3:30 to play with TK. Because GTA V has snow for Christmas and I wanted to have a chance to play with it since it's only going to be here for a couple of days :-) TH got home and we made veggie burgers and fries for dinner, I hung out with him for a little bit, then took another quick nap. And now I'm at work. I'm a little tired but not too bad.

So let's see. It is now Tuesday night, and my second night back at work. Busier than fucking shit, of course. Last night it didn't even slow down enough to think about writing until after 2:00 and by then I was just like, fuck it, lol. Nice and cool out tonight, too. It's supposed to be cool tomorrow and then even colder tomorrow night so I guess it will at least feel all Christmasy and shit overnight. Yay, lol.

Ok so, Friday morning I stopped by Starbucks on the way home for some coffee. Yay, gift cards! Got home and woke TK up and we went to take care of the kitties, went by Walmart for a few grocery type things, stopped at Home Depot for a couple of things, then went home and played until TH got home. Hung out with him for a while, made frozen pizzas for dinner, watched a couple of episodes of Chuck for movie night, then went to bed kinda early. TK's buddy came over to spend the night and they stayed up pretty late. I hadn't really planned on driving Friday night but I woke up around 1:00 and decided to go out for a while. I was only out for about an hour and a half and I ended up with one ride. Not horrible, but not great either. Stopped by HEB on my way home and bought a couple of stocking stuffer type things. Got home and hung out for a while (soooo quiet) until TH woke up.

December 18

Thursday night! Busier than shit here at work again. Of course. It's a little cooler out than it has been and it started raining a little bit after I got here. So far it hasn't amounted to much but there's still plenty out there. I think it's only supposed to stick around through noon or so tomorrow. We'll see though.

So I stopped by Randall's on my way home this morning to pick up a couple of things. Got home and TK was asleep so I stayed up and chatted with TH at work for a while. Went to bed around 10:00 or so and got up at 4:00. Put together chili cheese tater tots for dinner and played a little GTA V with TK. There was a kinda surprise new Christmas update that included a bunch of new stuff so we had fun with that :-) There was also an update for Xbox Minecraft but we didn't have a chance to check it out. Hopefully sometime this weekend. TH got home late and I hung out with him for a little bit then tried to take another quick nap. It...kinda sorta worked. So now I'm at work and I'm still a little tired. But it's ok because it's Thursday :-)

December 17

Not much going on today. It's busier than shit again here at work though. Sigh. It rained a little bit off and on all afternoon and it's still drizzly and foggy out right now. I think the best chance of rain starts tomorrow night into Friday morning. So that could be fun.

Got home this morning and TK was awake so I hung out with him playing COD. Went to bed later than I should have and got up around 8:00. Hung out with TH and TK and played with the kitties until time to come to work. TH had cooked burgers so I brought one to work with me for dinner. Yay, lol.

Tired again tonight. Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I stayed up and chatted with TH at work. Went to bed around 9:00, woke up at 1:30, and did a few things. Hung out with TH and TK for a while, made nachos with the leftover chicken fajita stuff for dinner, then took another quick nap until time to come to work.

Ok so, I feel like the absolute worst person ever. Today we got rid of 2 of our kitties, Hiccup and Snipe :-( I really didn't want to, but we were tired of them peeing on fucking everything so we pretty much had to. I mean, seriously. We live in a brand new fucking house and it smells like cat pee because they fucking spray everywhere. They also both hate Jim Bob and attack him every chance they get. Jim Bob likes to sleep on my pillows and yesterday Hiccup peed on my pillows. That was the last fucking straw. And it's not just in reaction to us bringing in the new kittens because they've always done it. TH actually threatened to get rid of them after we moved back in to the new house if they started peeing on stuff but I just couldn't let him do it. But today we finally did :-( So now we have Jim Bob and Naga, plus the four new kittens. So there's nobody left who sprays. Now all we need to do is get the house cleaned up and smelling nice, and it will stay that way. I still feel bad about it, though :-/

Holy crap I am tired tonight. I stayed up wayyy later than I should have today :-/ It's busy here at work again, which is just freaking lovely. It's cooler out too but the humidity is gone so it feels nice. I think it's supposed to be nice again tomorrow and then there's a pretty good chance for rain the next couple of days. At least if it rains and I decide to go driving I don't have to worry about washing my car, lol.

Got home this morning and TK was awake so I hung out with him for a little while then took Jim Bob and Umbra to the vet. They seemed to think Jim Bob was fine, so if he had a cold or something at some point he was pretty much over it already. Yay! Umbra, however, does have some kind of upper respiratory thing. They didn't seem to think it was very serious though because he's not running a fever and his appetite and activity level are good. Lol, no kidding :-D They went ahead and gave him a shot of antibiotics just to make sure it doesn't develop into something more serious though. So that was good. Finished up there and stopped by HEB because Hot Pockets, lol. Got home and ate lunch and just kinda hung out for a while until I was tired enough to go to sleep. Woke up around 8:00 or so, took a shower, and hung out with TH and TK until time to come to work. Oh, and at one point today I had Jazz, Umbra, Zoe, and Hiccup all sleeping with me :-)

Sunday night, back at work. It's all damp and humid and gross out tonight :-/ It rained a little off and on all afternoon but never really amounted to much. Busier here at work tonight - the college kids are back in town. Sigh. High school is still in until Friday, I think. Then it will get seriously crazy around here. Double sigh...

So let's see. Friday morning I stopped by Randall's to pick up a ham for Christmas because they were on sale. Figure it was cheap and it can just sit in the fridge until then, lol. Got home and woke TK up and we went to take care of the kitties. Stopped by Walmart first to look at hats and stuff and buy a hoodie for TK. Got to Petsmart and did the whole kitty thing then went by HEB for a few groceries. Got home and put everything up then went back to Petsmart to, um, pick up a couple of kitties. I'll explain later, lol. We were supposed to meet the rescue lady over there but we were early so we went to Target first for some more litter and a new litter box. She was running late so we went ahead and picked up the kitty that was already there and took him home. Hung out there for a while until she called to say she was on her way with the other kitty, TK stayed home to babysit (lol) and I headed back to Petsmart. Again :-D Chatted with the rescue lady for a little bit then grabbed the 2nd kitty and went home. By then TH was already home so we basically just hung out and played with the kitties. Watched an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for movie night and had Hot Pockets for dinner. I hadn't had a nap yet so I ended up going to bed fairly early.

December 11

Thursday night!! It's busier at work tonight but still not horrible. Nice and cool out without being too cold. It rained off and on last night and was still rainy and foggy when I left this morning. Nothing going on right now though. I think there's only like a 20% chance of rain for tomorrow and Saturday, then higher Sunday. So we'll see.

Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I stayed up and chatted with TH at work for a while. Went to bed around 10:00, got up at 5:00, hung out with TH and TK for a while, and made chicken fajitas for dinner. TH went to bed kinda early so I played a little GTA V with TK until time to come to work. And that's pretty much it, lol. Tomorrow we go take care of the kitties and then..dunno what yet. Something though :-)

Wednesday night, yay. Almost done for the week :-)  It's a little busier tonight but still not too bad. It rained off and on all afternoon but nothing serious. I think it's supposed to get heavier starting tomorrow though. Dunno, lol.

So today was nice and boring again, lol. Got home this morning and TK was awake again so I stayed up and played with him. Went to bed around 11:00 or so, got up around 5:00, hung out with TH and TK for a while, then decided I was still tired so I took another quick nap. And now I'm at work. TH and TK made a burger for dinner and I just brought a salad to work with me.

Not much going on again today. TK was actually awake when I got home this morning so I ended up staying up later than I should have playing with him. Went to bed around 11:00 or so, got up at 6:00. took a shower, made wings and fries for dinner, watched an episode of Chuck with TH, and now I'm at work. It's actually a little cooler out tonight but not quite as damp, so that's nice. It ended up getting super foggy before I got off work this morning so I got to drive home in that shit. Not fun :-/

So I met the other new guy at work tonight. He seems nice enough, Kinda dorky, which works for me, lol It's a little cooler out tonight and still kinda damp. There's supposed to be a better chance of rain as the week goes on so we'll see what ends up happening. Work is a little busier but still not too bad yet. So, yeah.

Not much going on today. Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a while. Threw some chicken thighs in the crockpot then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Got up at 6:00, hung out with TH for a little bit, played some GTA V with TK, took a shower, and now I'm at work. TH was feeling kinda crappy so he went on to bed early. I added some of the chicken to a salad to bring to work but everyone else pretty much just scrounged for dinner.

Sunday night, back at work. Yay, lol. So far it's been fairly slow but I've already seen a couple of kids home from college so I'm thinking it won't last too much longer. Sigh. It's nice and cool out tonight. A little damp but not too bad. All in all everything's pretty much just the usual here at work.

So let's see. Friday morning I got off work and went by TH's work to pick up TK. I stopped on the way there and bought breakfast for all of us. Whataburger, nom :-) We headed up to see my mom but got distracted when we drove past the rock quarry and had to stop to watch the big dump trucks for a little while :-) Finally got there around 7:30 or so and hung out with her until almost 3:00. It was actually kind of nice! Traffic on the way home though sucked fucking ass. On our way home we stopped by Walmart to look around. I bought a hoodie and we found a couple of Transformers baseball caps with a fabric mask that flips down from the inside. We bought one Autobot and one Decepticon. They are so freaking cute :-) Stopped by Randall's once we finally got down close to our house for frozen pizzas for dinner. We also got some wings because they sounded good but we haven't cooked them yet. Maybe tomorrow though. Finally got home and hung out with TH for a while, cooked the pizzas, and watched a couple of episodes of Chuck for movie night. TH went on to bed and I should have been super tired but I wasn't so TK and I stayed up late playing.

December 4

Thursday night! Kinda tired tonight but not too bad. Not too terribly busy at work for a Thursday but it's wet and foggy and gross out so maybe that's why. It's kinda been like this off and on all day but I think it's supposed to clear up sometime tomorrow. Of course then it's going to be almost 80 again, so that's going to suck. I'm ready for it to get cool and stay cool!

So TK was asleep when I got home this morning but I woke him up and we went to take care of the kitties. Almost everyone there was new. Sooooo many cute little kittens!! There was one older kitty who had been there almost a month who finally got adopted! So that was cool :-) Finished up there and thought about going by Sam's but it was too early since they don't open until 10:00. So we just stopped by HEB for a few things. Got home and played a little GTA V, went to bed around 1:30 or so, and woke up at 7:00. Took a shower then hung out with TH and TK until time to come to work. We still had leftovers so I didn't worry about cooking again.

December 3

Wednesday night. Almost there, lol. Not really much going on today. Got home this morning and TK was awake so we played a little GTA V then went to bed. Got up a little after TH got home and hung out with him for a while, had leftover fajita stuff for dinner, watched an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and now I'm at work.  It's still kinda damp and humid out but a little warmer than last night. I think there's like a 50% chance of rain for tonight and tomorrow. It's busier tonight, too :-P

So since we're planning on going to see my Mom Friday morning (yay, lol) we got someone to cover for us with the kitties and we're going to go do it in the morning instead. Probably while we're out we'll go ahead and swing by HEB for whatever we need for the weekend. And then sleeeeep, lol.

Tuesday night, yay. It was warmer today than it was yesterday but still a little cool tonight. It's been drizzling off and on since I got to work but so far nothing serious. Still fairly quiet too, which is nice. The new guy here at work is taking off for a week starting this Friday and we still don't know who is covering for him. He only works afternoons so if I end up working some of it I'll be coming in at 6 pm instead of 10 and working 12 hour shifts. The overtime would be nice but I really don't want to do it :-/ I like my nice (relatively) quiet nights...

So let's see. TK was asleep when I got home this morning so I chatted with TH at work for a while then went to bed. Got up around 2:00 and TK and I went to feed the ducks. I like the ducks :-) Went by Walgreen's on the way home for some milk and stopped to get gas. Got home and played a little GTA V until TH got home. He had gone to take his Biology test after work so he was late getting home. Made turkey fajitas, beans, and rice for dinner, hung out with TH and TK for a while, then took a quick nap until time to come to work.

First day of December already. Wow. Well, they weren't kidding - it got freaking cold today! Still cold and windy out tonight but luckily it's not very busy at work so I can kinda hide out inside, lol. Supposed to be almost 80 again by the weekend though. Kinda fucked up...

Not really much going on today. Got home this morning and TK was awake so I hung out with him for a little bit then we both went to bed. Got up kinda early and played a little Minecraft, hung out with TH when he got home, then took another quick nap. We still had leftovers for dinner so I didn't worry about cooking. I think after tonight though we're down to just leftover turkey so I might try to make something with it tomorrow night. Lol, turkey fajitas, perhaps :-)

Sunday night, back at work. And thank FSM it is nice and quiet again, just like it should be. For another couple of weeks, at least. Then everyone will be out for Christmas break and it will be annoying again. Sigh. Guess I better enjoy it while it lasts. It was hot again today and it's still pretty warm and humid tonight but there's supposed to be a front moving through tomorrow that will cool it back down for a couple of days. So that will be nice.

So let's see. Got home Friday morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a while then took a nap. Got up and hung out with TK for a while then after TH got home we went ahead and made the pies for Saturday. 2 lemon and 2 chocolate - nom :-) TK's buddy was coming over to spend the night so TH stopped by Papa Murphy's on his way home and picked up a couple of pizzas. We had dinner and TH and I watched about half of a movie then went on to bed. The boys stayed up pretty much all night playing.

November 27

Happy Thanksgiving!! Yay! Woohoo. Lol. And holy fucking shit it is finally Thursday night. This has been the longest week ever. Seriously :-/ It's a little cool again tonight but it's supposed to warm up to almost freaking 80 this weekend. That's way too hot for right now.

So let's see. Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work and went to bed later than I really should have. Again :-/ Woke up kinda early and played a little GTA V and Xbox One Minecraft with TK until TH got home. He brought home some stuff that the clubhouse at his work gave him for dinner so I have a nice little container of noms for later. Nom :-) Hung out with him until time to come to work and now I'm here. Traffic was ridiculous because all kinds of places decided to open late in the day Thanksgiving instead of waiting until early morning on Black Friday. You know, so people can GO SHOPPING!!!!11!! Whatever, dude. I don't get it.

So other than that, not much going on. We don't have to go take care of the kitties in the morning because they're opening super early for Black Friday so the lady who runs the rescue group is going to do it before they open. Saturday we're going to cook but I'm still not sure if my mom is coming over or not. I kinda want her to but I kinda really don't want to have to go pick her up and then take her home since she lives like 30 miles away. So we'll see.

Holy shit, make it stop. I am seriously so freaking tired of people already that I could just strangle someone. Or a bunch of someones, lol. It has been unbelievably busy here at work tonight. I'm hoping that maybe tomorrow night will be better but I kinda doubt it. Sigh. At least after tonight I only have one more night for the week. Yay? And too everything after midnight tonight is holiday pay so they can just suck it, lol.

So I stopped by HEB on my way home this morning thinking that I could get in and out of there before it got busy. Well apparently everyone else in town had the same fucking idea because it was crazy busy >:-( But I got everything we need for the weekend, so yay! Got home and TK was asleep so I stayed up and chatted with TH for a while. Went to bed later than I really should have and woke up around 3:00 or so. Got up and hung out with TK for a while, played a little GTA V, and made tater tot casserole for dinner. One of TH's guys quit today so he ended up having to stay until 7:00 and he has to do the same thing again tomorrow :-/ At least it's overtime/holiday pay? Played a little GTA V with him, cleaned up the kitchen, hung out with TH when he got home, then took another quick nap. We basically did leftover type stuff for dinner. And now I'm at work. I think I'm going to stop by HEB on my way home in the morning to pick up anything we need for this weekend. Because I definitely do not want to be out anywhere any longer than I have to until after the weekend is over and everyone goes back to work and shit. :-P

Not much going on today. Cooler tonight and a little busier here at work but not too bad. Got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a while and went to bed around 9:00 or so. Woke up when TH got home and hung out with them for a while then went to World Market because they had coffee syrups on sale, plus I had a coupon for $10 off if you spent $30. So basically I got 6 syrups for $20 :-) I also found some more of the kitty cat wine! They had gold, silver, and the black one that I had looked for at Halloween. They're so freaking cute! Ahem. Stopped by Petco really quick to pick up some gravel for the aquarium here at work then grabbed some Whataburger to take home for dinner. Got home and watched an episode of Chuck with TH then hung out with TK until time to come to work. And that's pretty much it, lol.

Sunday night, back at work. It was really warm today - in the low 80's in most places, but there's a front moving through tonight that should cool things back down. Not super cold like a couple of weeks ago, but nice and fall-like for the next week or so :-) This Thursday is Thanksgiving so the school district out here where I work is taking the whole week off. So far tonight it's been pretty quiet but I'm thinking it will get busier as it gets later in the week. Should be fun, lol.

So let's see. Got home Friday morning and TK was awake so we went to take care of the kitties early. Finished up there and went by Walmart to pick up a couple of things. Got home and played some GTA V until TH got home then hung out with him for a while. Had fish and fries for dinner and watched the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a couple of episodes of Chuck. TH went to bed and TK and I stayed up playing for a while. It started raining after TH got home and pretty much rained off and on most of the night. Nothing serious though, which was good.

November 20

Thursday night!! It's not as cold again tonight but it's rainy and foggy and gross. I think it's pretty much supposed to stay like this through Sunday. They're calling for something like a 40% chance of rain tomorrow and then 100% chance Saturday. Oh, and a "possibility of severe storms and/or flooding". Great...

So let's see. I got busy last night and didn't get a chance to write but there really wasn't much going on. Got home Wednesday morning and hung out with TK for a while, slept until after TH got home, had macaroni and cheese and chicken for dinner, then went to work. We were going to take Naga in for her ear surgery the next morning so she wasn't allowed to have food or water after 10:00. She ended up spending the night in the gameroom with TK :-) And that was pretty much it.

November 18

Kinda tired again tonight but not too bad. It's a little busier at work but warmer out so that helps. It's supposed to be cold again by morning and then warm up some for the next week or so. Eh, whatever, lol.

TK was awake when I got home this morning so we played some of the new GTA V! I was really disappointed to see that apparently they did not add animals to online like we were expecting. Sigh. At least not yet, that is. There's supposed to be another update coming out in the next week or so, so maybe they'll be in there? They added a bunch of new animals and stuff to single player though so that's cool. We have kitties now!! Ahem. Anyway, played with TK for a while then went to bed kinda late. Woke up around 6:00 and made wings and tater tots for dinner, then cooked some chicken breast I had thawed out so we already have dinner ready for tomorrow night. Yay, lol. Hung out with TH and TK until time to come to work. And that's pretty much it for the day.

Holy crap I'm tired tonight. Pretty slow here at work again so at least that's something. It's actually a little colder tonight than it was last night but there's no wind so it doesn't feel as bad. I think this is the last really cold night for a few days until the next front moves through early next week. Or something, lol.

So let's see. TK was asleep when I got home this morning so I chatted with TH at work for a while then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Woke up at 1:00 and couldn't fall back to sleep so I got up. TK and I went to Walmart to look for a couple of things we need to get some special edition gear for COD Advanced Warfare. Hey, it looks cool :-P Of course though they didn't have anything we needed. Got home and I went to take our kitty Naga (the fuzzy black and white one) to the vet to get checked out. She's had this ear thing or something for a little while now but it really seems to be bothering her lately. They're pretty much just a walk-in type place so I ended up being there for about 2 hours because they were super fucking busy. Sigh. Finished up there and got home, ate some leftover chili cheese tater tot stuff, then kinda took a quick nap. And now I'm at work. Yay.

November 16

Sunday night, back at work. It's super fucking cold and windy as shit out there, which is not fun. At least it's not very busy so I can spend most of my time inside. So that helps, at least. Today is also TK's birthday, even though we did the whole birthday thing Saturday. So he's officially 15 now. Wow...

So let's see. TK was asleep when I got home Friday morning so I took a quick nap then we went to take care of the kitties. Finished up there and went by Target to get stuff for his birthday and look around for a little bit. Went up to the security office again because I had ordered some new shirts last week and they finally showed up. Stopped by Gamestop to sell one of our old iPhones. We ended up getting like $95 in store credit so we bought a charging dock for the Xbox One controllers, a Black Ops 2 phone case for TK's phone, and $50 in gift cards for the Xbox store so we could preorder GTA V. Got home and played a little COD until TH got home then hung out with him for a while. Watched an episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and had Hot Pockets for dinner. TH went to bed and TK and I stayed up for a while playing Halo and stuff.

November 13

Thursday night! A little busier here at work but not too bad. It's actually a little bit colder right now than it was last night but the wind has died down so I'm not freezing my butt off. So yay! Tomorrow morning is supposed to be the coldest it's been so far but then they're calling for a slight chance of rain and a little warmer over the weekend. So we'll see what happens. I really, really need to go drive at least Saturday night since I haven't done it in almost a month :-/ I think TK's buddy is planning on spending the night then so that actually works out well.

So basically not much going on again today. TK was asleep when I got home this morning so I stayed up for a while chatting with TH at work then went to bed. Woke up around 7:00 or so, hung out with them for a little while, and now I'm at work. I had planned on making chili cheese tater tots with the leftover chili but everyone had already eaten something by the time I got up. So probably tomorrow night, I guess. Dunno.

Not much going on today. It is still windy out tonight and seriously cold! I actually brought my jacket with me tonight because I froze my ass off last night every time I stood outside for too long chatting with people. It was 39 when I left for work and I think they're calling for low 30's by morning. We're under a freeze warning for tonight and tomorrow night so that should be fun. And, there's a little bit of precipitation trying to develop in the area that might turn into freezing rain later tonight! Awesome :-/

So I got home this morning and TK was asleep but he woke up before I went to bed so we played for a while. The crockpot of beans was done so I turned it into chili and left it to simmer all day. It turned out nicely :-) Went to bed around 12:30 or so, got up at 8:00, took a shower, hung out with TH, and now I'm at work. Yay, lol.

Oh yeah. So at home we have a couple of random stray kitties hanging around outside that we feed every day. Well, I think some of them actually kind of have homes but they're always sooooo pitiful and hungry so...yeah. TH says I'm a sucker, lol. One of them though I'm almost sure really is a stray. She used to be really skinny but since she's been eating regularly she looks a lot better :-) She's a fuzzy little black kitty with white feet and a white chest, so she basically looks like a smaller version of our kitty Naga. We call her Squeakie because when she talks to us she has this tiny little squeaky meow. She's so cute :-) I kinda think she's trying to move in because she's started hanging out on the porch. We can't quite pet her yet but she lets us get a little closer every day. Sooon, lol. I was worried about her getting cold so before I left for work tonight we set up a plastic tote with a blanket out on the front porch for her to sleep in. I hope she finds it!

Ohhhh man. Kinda tired again tonight but not as bad as I thought I would be. And yep, they weren't kidding. It got freaking cold today, lol. It's like, 39 right now. I like it though :-) It probably wouldn't be quite as fun if I had to stand outside for the whole 8 hour shift but just running in and out all night like I do it's not too bad. I didn't even bother digging out my jacket. TH did insist that we turn on the heater at the house but by the time I left for work tonight it still hadn't come on yet. It's set for 70 and the house was still holding at 72. It's apparently pretty well insulated, lol.

So I stopped by HEB on my way home this morning to buy some dried beans. I had planned on starting a crockpot of beans last night to turn into chili for dinner tonight but the beans I had at home were...kinda gross :-/ I didn't think dried beans would really go bad but they just didn't seem right. So I tossed them and bought some new ones. Got home and TK was still awake so we played some Halo! And it was awesome :-) We played a couple of Halo 2 campaign missions and tried to play a little multiplayer but apparently they're having server issues right now. So that kinda sucked. They're working on it though so hopefully it will be up and running soon. I'm really liking what we've been able to play so far :-) Played that for a while, played a little COD AW, then went to bed around 1:00 or so. Got up at 7:30, hung out with TH for a while, started the beans (lol), and now I'm at work. Yay?

November 10

Holy crap I'm tired tonight. Nice and quiet at work though so that helps. It's cool and kinda breezy out right now but once the front comes through tomorrow morning it should be considerably cooler. I think they're calling for a high tomorrow of like 58 or so, and that should be right after midnight. Should be a nice day to stay home and play freaking Halo!!! And of course sleep and come back to work tomorrow night. Sigh.

So I got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH for a while then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Woke up when he got home and we all went running around for a little bit. We went to Gamestop and cancelled our preorders for The Master Chief Collection (since we went ahead and bought the digital version) and GTA V, since we're still holding out for the digital version. If we do end up having to buy the disks we'll probably get them from the Microsoft store because they're offering a $10 gift card with purchase. Hey, every little bit helps :-) Finished up there and went by HEB for a couple of things, got home and hung out for a while, then tried to take a quick nap but I couldn't fall asleep so I got up and played a little COD AW with TK. And now I'm at work, knowing that the MCC went live about an hour ago and I can't play it until I get home in the morning. Double sigh.

Sunday night, back at work. Yeehaw, lol. So far it's been pretty quiet, which is always nice. It's a little cool out tonight but by Tuesday morning they're calling for some seriously cold stuff to hit. I likes :-)

So let's see. Got home Friday morning and TK was still up so we had some breakfast and went to take care of the kitties. Finished up there and headed up to the security office so I could pick up my new security license. Stopped by the local Army/Navy surplus store because TK had never been there before. He was sooooo excited, lol. It's awesome! We bought a couple of dummy grenades and a 50 cal bullet. Oh, and an army green beanie hat for R here at work. Cause that's what he likes. On the way home we drove past the Ferrari place so we had to stop for a minute and drool over the cars. They were soooooo shiny. We also drove through the neighborhood I lived in when my parents and I first moved to town. I showed TK the Randall's I worked at for my first job, the 7-11 I worked at where TH and I met, and the apartments we lived in. My parents still lived there for 2 or 3 years after TK was born so he had been there when he was little. He actually kind of remembered the apartment building, because when we pulled up to it he asked if it was the place with the sidewalk that had handprints and cat footprints in it. So that was pretty cool :-) Got home and played a little COD Advanced Warfare, which is freaking awesome!! TH got home and we had Hot Pockets for dinner and watched a couple of episodes of Chuck. It's turning out to be pretty good! I hadn't had a nap or anything so I went on to bed when TH did.

November 6

Finally Thursday night! And holy freaking shit I am tired tonight :-/ It could be worse though because I almost ended up having to come in to work early tonight. The other girl here at work got stung by a wasp earlier today so she freaked out and called the big boss. He called me around 4:30 or so and I told him that I could come in early if he needed me to but it probably wouldn't be until at least 8:00 because I still needed to sleep. He managed to get ahold of one of the other guys though so it all worked out. Yay, lol.

So I got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a little bit then went on to bed. Woke up around 12:30 and TK and I went to Walmart to pick up a couple of grocery type things and a new powerstrip, then went to Gamestop and bought 2 Xbox Ones! More on that in a minute, lol. As we were leaving Gamestop there was a guy in a pickup who had broken down right in the middle of the exit driveway leading out to the frontage road and everyone was just driving around him like he wasn't even there. We stopped and helped him push his truck down about a block to get it over on a side street :-) Got home and made chili cheese tater tots for dinner, started setting up the Xboxes, and hung out with TH for a little bit. I tried to take another quick nap but it didn't really work. Sigh.

Wednesday night! Almost finished for the week :-) Seems like it's been a long week for some reason. Dunno why. It started raining before I came to work last night and has pretty much rained nonstop ever since. Nothing heavy though, just a nice soaking rain. So that's cool.

So I got busy last night and didn't get a chance to write but there's really not much going on so I guess it's not really that big of a deal, lol. Basically just work, sleep, hanging out with TH and TK, and coming back to work. So...yeah. I did meet the new girl here at work tonight. She seems nice enough but I don't know how long she'll be around. She said she's already told the big boss she wants to find something closer to her house so she doesn't have to drive as far. So I guess we'll see what happens.

Not really much going on today. It's been pretty slow at work so far. That's always nice :-) There's been a really light, steady drizzle ever since I got to work tonight. Just barely enough to get the roads kinda wet. Tomorrow afternoon it's supposed to start raining and pretty much rain through Wednesday night. Some models are calling for as much as 4"-5" in places. Could get interesting...

So I went online on the way home this morning but didn't manage to get any rides. Maybe if I had hung out for a while I could have snagged something but I was kinda ready to just go home. TK was asleep when I got there so I talked to TH at work for a little while then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Got up at 4:00, hung out with TH and TK, made some beef noodle stew type stuff and cornbread for dinner, watched the first episode of Chuck with TH, took a shower, and now I'm at work. Yay, lol. I'm thinking if TK is awake in the morning and it's not raining we might go hiking and/or go feed the ducks. Dunno yet though.

Sunday night, back at work. It's nice and cool out tonight, too. We ended up messing around all day and I never did get a nap so I'm kinda tired but not too bad. So far it's been pretty slow here at work. There was a big racing event thingie in town this weekend and today was the last day so I kinda expected it to be a little busier than normal. Guess not, though. Traffic wasn't really too bad either so that was kinda weird. Nice, but weird, lol.

So let's see. Friday morning I stopped on the way home for coffee and breakfast tacos. TK was still awake so we ate breakfast then went to go do the kitty thing. We were there for a couple of hours cleaning the cages and playing with the kitties. It was awesome :-) There were a few of the same kitties as before but also a few new ones. Including a set of little Siamese brothers who were soooooo freaking adorable!! Ahem. Finished up there and went by Gamestop to look around. We're still kinda seriously thinking about the whole Xbox One thing :-) Stopped by Target to look at toys and stuff and picked up some frozen pizza and frozen wings for dinner, Got home and hung out for a while, played some GTA V until TH got home, then made dinner. TK's buddy came over and we watched an episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. while we waited for the Trick or Treating dudes to start showing up. Once it got dark we sat out on the porch handing out candy and eating vodka gummy bears. And being silly :-) It was fun! Once we had handed out all of the candy we went inside and hung out for a while then TH and I went to bed and the boys stayed up for a while.

Thursday night, yay! Not really much going on today. Talked to TH on the way home, TK was asleep when I got there so I went to bed fairly early and got up around 4:30 or so. Hung out with them for a while, made burgers for dinner, and now I'm at work. There's supposed to be a cold front moving through tonight that might kick off a few showers and thunderstorms. I'm sitting here watching a pretty decent lightning show but I don't know yet if it's going to make it this far. We'll see, lol.

Tomorrow TK and I get to go do the kitty thing, probably run a few errands, then after TH gets home we do Halloween!! I think TK's buddy is going to come spend the night, so that should be fun :-)

Wednesday night! Still kinda tired again tonight but really not too bad, I guess. By the time I got home this morning though I was seriously ready for bed. TH was at work so I talked to him on my way home. TK was asleep when I got there so I pretty much just drugged the kitty and went on to bed. Got up around 1:00 and my floor mats were there! I didn't want to put them in a dirty car so TK and I went to get my car washed and do a little running around. I had gotten an email from World Market about a Halloween wine sale and this was one of the ones pictured. So of course I had to go look for it. Unfortunately they were sold out of the black and orange bottles but I did find a pink one so I got that instead. For now, lol. I may have to go back and check again before they go off sale. I kinda really want a couple of the black ones :-) We also went by Gamestop to look around a little bit then stopped by Randall's for some fruit and stuff. Got home and made leftover chicken, a skillet full of veggies, and homemade macaroni and cheese for dinner. Watched an episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. with TH, took a shower, and now I'm at work.

So TK has been super fucking hyper lately about wanting to get an Xbox One, mostly because of the new Master Chief Collection (and Halo 5, eventually) and the fact that they're re-releasing GTA V for next-gen and it's supposed to be totally awesome. So we got to looking around and I'm actually kinda thinking about getting one. Sigh. The guy at Gamestop today said that after this Sunday the prices are dropping $50, which would make the COD version $450. Also, the last few times we went to Gamestop they've tried to get me to sign up for one of their credit cards so today I finally let them run it to see what kind of credit limit I might be eligible for. So now I have a $350 credit card for Gamestop, lol. They have a deal right now where if you make a purchase that is more than $500, even if you don't pay the whole balance with the card, you get 6 months to pay it off with no interest. So...yeah. I'm kinda really thinking about it, lol.

Kinda tired again tonight :-/ Not really much going on though. Got home this morning and TK was asleep. Talked to TH at work for a while then went to bed around 10:00 or so. Got up at 2:30 and TK and I went to Sam's. Traffic was freaking horrible for some reason >:-( TH was already home when we got finished so we hung out with him for a while. I made some brown rice and black bean stuff for dinner then took a quick nap before work. So...yeah, that's pretty much it :-P

Holy shit I'm tired tonight. Sigh. I ended up going to bed late and getting up early which always sucks. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to sleep a little more. So let's see. I got busy here at work last night and didn't get a chance to write. Apparently the kids out here didn't have school today so I guess that explains it. So far tonight has been pretty slow though. It's nice and cool and breezy out too. I think they're calling for a cold front to blow through sometime tomorrow but I don't know how cool it's supposed to get. It's been warmer than normal for the last week or so which kinda sucks. I'm ready for the fall temperatures to stick around!

So Friday morning I got home and TK was still awake so we went to HEB for a couple of things. Got home and played a little Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron until almost time to go do the volunteer thing. Stopped by Walmart on the way there and bought us each a pair of hiking shoes. Yay! We also grabbed a short string of Christmas lights to stick in the spider's head so his eyes would light up. Got to Petsmart a little early and had to wait a little while for the lady to show up. We ended up being there for almost 2 1/2 hours! She like, seriously trained us, lol. A couple of the kittens had eaten some wet food the night before and it didn't agree with them so they had managed to shit all over themselves and a couple of the cages, so that was really fucking gross. We managed though, lol. Finished up with all of the cleaning and played with the kitties for a little bit, stopped by the liquor store for a couple of bottles of vodka, got home and started the vodka gummy bears (nom), and pretty much just hung out until TH got home. Oh, and we went by Wendy's to pick up lunch because we were starving, lol. TH got home and we watched a couple of episodes of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for movie night and went to bed. Because sleeeeeeeeep :-)

Thursday night! Kinda tired again tonight. Not too bad though. I'm actually kinda surprised that I don't feel worse than I do because I caved this morning and drank a couple of beers before I went to bed. And then proceeded to go over my carbs and shit for the day. Sigh. At least though I didn't just say fuck it and eat ALL THE BAD THINGS!!! like I've done before. I pretty much stuck to keto-friendly stuff, just not very smart portions of it. So yay, I guess?

 So I talked to TH on the way home this morning because he was at work. TK was asleep when I got home so I hung out and talked to TH for a while and went to bed around 10:30 or so. Got up around 6:30 and hung out with them, played with the kitties, and now I'm at work. We had ordered a couple of 6 foot power cables for the new phones to plug in next to the bed and those came today. I likes :-) We also got our copies of Transformers: Fall Of Cyberton! Hopefully we'll get a chance to play it sometime this weekend. Tomorrow morning we're meeting the adoption lady over at Petsmart for our volunteer training thingie. It's gonna be awesome :-) We also need to go by HEB and Sam's for a couple of things. And, I dunno what else. TH works Saturday but he's off Sunday and I'll probably go drive at least one night. So that should be fun, lol.

Wednesday night! Kinda tired again but not too bad. Not very busy here at work for some reason either, which is always nice. It rained for just a little while right after I got here tonight, I definitely wasn't expecting it so that was kinda cool.

So TK was asleep when I got home this morning and TH was at work again. Chatted with him for a while then went to bed. Got up around 2:00 and TK and I went to Gamestop to see if we could sell one of the old iPhones. We were there for freaking ever while they messed with it but ended up not doing it because the wireless was acting up again and wouldn't connect. Sigh. A fully functioning phone is worth like $100 cash or $127 store credit, but without the wireless working we could only get like $50. I may try again this weekend and see if it works. If not I guess we'll just take whatever we can get for it since we really don't have a use for it. We also decided that I think we're going to cancel our preorder for COD Advanced Warfare. We'll probably pick it up later on after it gets cheap but I really don't think we would play it enough to pay $100 for it and all of the map packs. I figure for now if we really want to shoot shit we can just go in and play a little Ghosts or Black Ops 2, lol. So anyway, we finished up at Gamestop and went by Target to look around. Picked up some frozen wings for something easy to cook for dinner. Headed home and ran into TH at the gas station by the house so we stopped to bother him. And get gas, lol. Still kinda tired tonight but not quite as bad as yesterday. A little busier here at work for some reason. Last night ended up being super dead. Which is always nice :-) Last night was also supposed to be the peak of the Orionids Meteor shower so I spent some time standing outside staring at the sky. Never managed to see anything though :-( It's dark enough out here that I have a pretty good view of the stars but I guess it wasn't quite dark enough for meteors. Sigh. Oh, and I met the "new" guy this morning. He's worked for the company for a long time - he used to work in the main office and would drive around checking up on all of the sites, so I've actually known him for about 6 years now. He's going to be filling in at our site for the guy who just quit/got fired or whatever. There's still a chance that I might end up working Friday night though. I'll probably find out tomorrow.

So let's see. Stopped by Randall's on my way home this morning because they had my low-carb tortillas on sale. I also found a couple of blocks of cheddar habanero cheese marked down that I had to try. It's hot but really good! Got home and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a while then went to bed. Got up at 3:00 and played a little Transformers War For Cybertron with TK until TH got home, made burgers for dinner, watched an episode of Orange Is The New Black, and now I'm at work.

Not much going on today. Kitties are still doing great :-) TK was asleep and TH was at work when I got home this morning so I chatted with him for a little bit then went to bed. Got up around 6:00, made fajitas with the leftover pork roast, and now I'm at work. So far it's been pretty quiet which is nice. I am still seriously tired for some reason though. Sigh.

Wow, what a weekend! First things first though - Sunday night, back at work. And I've been here since 6 pm rather than 10 pm because one of the guys called in sick. Again. The big boss called me at home earlier today to see if I could come in early so the guy who was here wouldn't end up staying for 16 hours until I got here at 10. This way we both ended up with 12 for the day. The big boss also said that they were planning on firing this guy who called in because he has basically just been fucking off and not doing his job. So now he's gone and I'm not sure who will end up covering his shifts until they can find another new person. I might go ahead and volunteer to do next Friday and Saturday nights (sigh) but there's no way I'm doing the next Friday night. Cause it's Halloween :-)

Ok so let's see. Friday morning I got home and TK was still awake so we decided to go hiking! We went to this little park where you start off on a paved trail but then end up wandering through the woods on little forest trail type things. It was awesome! Stopped by HEB to pick up a couple of things, Sprouts to get a few veggies, then went by the house to put everything away. We decided to go look at Target to see if they had any new cool toys so we headed down there. We got distracted on the way there though and stopped at a Gamestop to look around. Nothing good, lol. There's a Petsmart in the same shopping center as the Gamestop so we decided to go in and look at the animals. Um, more on this later :-) So when we were finished running around we got home and hung out for a while until TH got home, made some nachos (pork rind nachos for me), and watched a couple of episodes of Orange Is The New Black for movie night. I was seriously tired because I hadn't slept at all so I just went on to bed when TH did instead of going out driving. Oh, and my phone case showed up so I got my new phone all synced and ready to go. It's sooooooo shiny :-)

October 16

Thursday night! Finally :-) TH is off Saturday and Sunday this week so I'm not sure what we're doing yet. Right now I'm planning on driving Friday and Saturday nights, as long as nothing happens. Definitely want to get some of the Halloween stuff put up for sure. Dunno. Either way it will be nice having everyone home together for a while!

So I got home this morning and TK was still awake so we hung out and played a little Pixelmon. Ended up going to bed around 12:00 or so and got up at 7:30. Had leftover buffalo chicken chili type stuff for dinner and hung out with TH until time to come to work. And now I'm here :-P

Oh and and and...this whole Ebola thing is getting a little more worrisome :-/ So the first guy here who had it came from Liberia and got sick after he was here in my state. He died a week or so ago :-( Now 2 nurses who helped take care of him have come down with it, and one of them actually flew to and from a state across the country while she might have been contagious. So now they're looking at everyone she was in contact with to see if they're at risk for getting it. One of the people on her flight lives in a town like 20 minutes away from here. This is about the time where I start wishing I had never read any Dean Koontz, robin Cook, Michael Chrichton type stuff...

It was nice and cool out this morning when I got off work. I think the high was only like 85 today and the 7 day forecast is full of low 80's and upper 70's for the highs. Yay for fall :-) We still need to work on getting the Halloween decorations up. If nothing else we have to have the giant spider by Halloween, at least. Halloween is always fun!

So I talked to TH on the way home this morning since he was at work. TK was asleep when I got home so I chatted with TH for a little longer then went to bed. Got up when TH got home and hung out with him for a while, played a little Transformers War For Cybertron with TK, then took a quick nap until time to come to work. TH had already gone to bed when I got up so I had to sneak around and gather up my clothes and shit. That's always fun, lol.

October 14

Kinda tired tonight. Not really much going on though. It's nice and cool out again though so that's nice. It was 52 when I left work this morning and I think it's supposed to be a little cooler than that in the morning. I think it's probably safe to say that our really hot weather is over. Finally, lol.

So TK was still awake when I got home this morning. Hung out with him for just a little bit then went to bed around 8:00. Woke up at about 1:30 or so and couldn't fall back asleep so I just got up. Played a little GTA V with TK until TH got home, hung out with him for a little bit, then took another nap. They had dinner while I was asleep but I brought mine to work with me. We still had some leftover pork roast but I took the broth that was left in the crockpot and added some cooked chicken thighs, TVP, hot sauce, and mixed veggies to make kind of a buffalo chicken chili type thing. Yay, options! Everyone was asleep when I got up so that was a little weird. Makes me wonder whether TK will be awake when I get home in the morning or not.

Noms for the day: Yay! I basically just kinda guessed on the amounts for dinner. It may not end up being quite that much but I'm still good.

My first day back on keto! Yay, lol. So far so good, which is awesome. All I really have to do it stick with it because I know it works. Hopefully I can do this!

So, let's see. I stopped by Randall's on my way home this morning and picked up a pork roast, some onions, and some radishes. Got home and threw it all in the crockpot to cook all day. TK was asleep so I stayed up for a little while talking to TH (at work), went to bed around 9:00, and woke up at about 1:30. Got up and vacuumed, did a little cleaning and a load of laundry, and played with TK for a while until TH got home at 3:00. He was supposed to work until 4:00 again but they finally got a new guy trained and the big boss is trying to cut down on the overtime. So that was cool. Hung out with them then took another quick nap around 6:30 or so. And now I'm at work. It's nice and cool out tonight! Last night and most of today was super windy while the cold front was moving through but it's died down now. We did end up getting just a little bit of rain after I got home this morning but nothing like what it looked like on the overnight radar. Seems like most of the heavy stuff fizzled out before it got here. At least the front cooled everything down though :-)

Sunday night, back at work. Yay, lol. Got busy Wednesday and Thursday night and didn't get a chance to write but there wasn't much going on so no big deal really. I ended up not going out driving this weekend so I actually had 2 days off, which was kinda weird. Nice, but weird. So let's see. TK was still awake Friday morning when I got home so we went to HEB to pick up a couple of things, got home and played a little GTA V, took a quick nap until TH got home, and made nachos for dinner. We watched a couple of episodes of Orange Is The New Black and I was still pretty tired so I went on to bed when TH did.

Saturday TH was off so we woke up kinda early and hung out for a while. A cool front moved through overnight so it rained pretty hard off and on for most of the morning. We watched Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls. Lol - bumblebee tuna XD Got out later in the afternoon and went to the AT&T store to look at phones since I still haven't managed to go get mine looked at. I think I've decided that I'm just going to suck it up and buy a 128 Gig iPhone 6. I had been looking at a refurbished 64 Gig 5S but we figured out that it would actually only be about another $150 to get the brand new 6 with double the memory. They have it to where you can either renew your contract and pay a discounted price for the phone or pay full price for the phone in monthly installments and have the option to upgrade again in a year instead of 2. If we paid the discounted price we would lose a $25/month discount per line that we have right now, plus pay a $40 activation fee. Paying it out with installments lets us keep the discount and waives the activation fee. So really it ends up being cheaper in the long run to do the installments and pay full price for the phone. So that's kinda fucked up, but whatever. And of course since we decided to go ahead and upgrade to the 6, they didn't have any in stock. I think we're just going to end up ordering them online, which takes 3 weeks or so because they're backordered. We also added another line to our account for only $15 so I can use one of the old iPhones for Uber and give them their phone back, and not have to pay the $10/week rental fee. Yay! So anyway, we messed around with them then went by Sam's for some stuff. Got home and hung out for a while, ordered pizza, and played TK's new game. He had earned some money for mowing the yard on Friday so he bought Transformers: War For Cybertron. I like :-) We really want to get Fall Of Cybertron because DINOBOTS!!! but it's still a little expensive. Sooooon, lol. I was still kinda tired so I went to bed a little earlier than I had planned.

October 7

Not much going on today. Stopped by HEB on my way home this morning because I wanted Hot Pockets for breakfast, lol. Got home and TK was still awake so we played a little GTA V. He went to bed fairly early but I had trouble falling asleep. I watched a little Netflix and finally fell asleep around 2:30 or so. Sigh. Got up at 8:00 and hung out with TH until time to come to work. And now I'm here.

So Time Warner has been offering a free internet speed increase if you traded in your old modem for a new one. We got the new one and set it up Monday, and sure enough we have faster internet. Yay! But somehow when we hooked it up we managed to fuck up our Minecraft server so we haven't been able to play for a couple of days. Which sucked -/ Finally figured out how to fix it this afternoon so now I can play Pixelmon at work. Yay!

So, I decided to go online on my way home this morning and managed to pick up an airport run! North part of town to the airport, it was about 20 miles and 30 minutes or so. I won't get the statement on it until tomorrow morning so I'm not sure how much it paid but it was pretty cool :-) I really didn't have to go very far out of my way to pick the guy up and I live pretty close to the airport so it was just like, bonus, lol. Yay :-)

So, let's see. Dropped the guy off at the airport and went home. TK was still awake so I hung out with him for a while and played a little GTA V. He went to bed but I couldn't fall asleep so I put up the laundry and emptied the dishwasher, lol. Finally ended up going to bed around 2:00 or so and got up at 8:00. And now I'm at work.

Sunday night, back at work. Woohoo, lol. I thought it might be busy tonight since today was the last day of the music festival thingie but so far it's been pretty normal. So that's nice. It was kinda cool over the weekend but it's back to warm and muggy tonight. I think it's supposed to be hot for a few more days before another "cold front" moves through by the end of the week. Right now they're showing a decent chance of rain for next weekend, which is the second weekend of the music festival. It will be interesting to see what ends up happening.

So let's see. Friday morning I talked to TH on the way home because he was at work. TK was still awake when I got home so we went to get some coffee, wandered around Walmart for a while, got my car washed, and stopped by HEB to pick up a couple of things. And we finally found the Transformer dude that we wanted to get TH for his birthday! So that was cool :-) Got home and played a little GTA V with TK then he took a nap and I went out driving. I left around 12:30 or 1:00 and stayed out until almost 6:00. And holy fucking shit at the traffic! I actually ended up doing pretty well but if there hadn't been so much traffic I could have done more rides and maybe made a little more. So I'm kinda thinking that for me, at least, it's not really worth it to try and go out during the day on the busy weekends. I think I'll stick to the weekend late night stuff. I really really don't like traffic. Or daylight, lol. So I finished up there and headed home, we made frozen pizzas for dinner and watched 22 Jump Street for movie night. Well, I watched half of 22 Jump Street. I hadn't taken a nap so I was too tired to finish it. So I went on to bed, lol.

October 2

Holy shit it is finally Thursday night!! I survived 12 straight days of work. Well, 12 days here. I usually end up driving on the weekends so that's kinda work but that's not the point. So yay, lol. So it got hot today but a front was supposed to move through this evening and cool everything down. It's here! The wind has shifted and it feels like the humidity is dropping. There was a pretty good chance of thunderstorms but it looks like they mostly stayed off to the north and west. We got just a tiny sprinkle here a little while ago but I am sitting here watching an awesome lightning show. So at least that's something, lol.

So when I got home this morning TH was at work and TK was still awake so we stayed up for a while playing some GTA V. TK went to bed and I had trouble falling asleep so I ended up chatting with TH again until almost 1:00. Sigh. Got up at 7:00, made some black bean and rice stuff for dinner, hung out with TH and TK for a while, and now I'm at work. I've already seen my one cop buddy, lol. He came by to say hi because there's nothing going on out there tonight. He also confirmed that the guy who hit the light pole in here last night is a resident. So if HOA tries to get all shitty about it this time, they can just suck it :-P

First day of October!! That means it's almost Halloween, lol. I'm hoping that this weekend we'll get a chance to put up our giant spider and the rest of our Halloween decorations. Cause they're totally awesome :-)

So let's see. I ended up getting busy last night and didn't have a chance to write. The crazy flex officer girl worked yesterday afternoon so after I got here she hung out and chatted until almost 11:30. One of our cop buddies came by and I stood outside with him for about another hour, then R. came through 3 or 4 times. So I had plenty of people to talk to last night, lol. Other than that not really much going on yesterday. Talked to TH on the way home then TK was still awake so we went by HEB for milk and a couple of things. Got home and stayed up later than we probably should have playing GTA V. Finally went to bed around 2:00 or so and got up at 8:00. Basically just did leftover type stuff for dinner. Work was cool, not too busy as far as traffic and everything. So that was nice.

Not much going on today. Talked to TH on the way home and since TK was asleep when I got there I just stayed up and chatted with him for a while. Tried to go to bed but didn't end up falling asleep until almost 1:00. Got up at like 7:00 and hung out with TK until time for work. Sigh. TH woke me up changing clothes when he got home around 5:00. He said he was tired but not sleepy so he was just going to lay down with me for a little bit. He was still asleep when I left for work, lol.

And that's pretty much it. Nice and slow here at work, which is always good. This morning my boss said that the big boss is pretty sure he'll be able to have this new guy trained and ready to go for next weekend. I really don't want to end up working here because I wanna go drive!! Well, I kinda wanna go drive because it's going to be super fucking busy but then I kinda just want a day to sit home and do nothing. Guess I have a couple of days to decide...

Sunday night, back at work. Oh, wait :-P At least it's much quieter here at work than it was over the weekend. Last night was crazy busy again. I really don't enjoy being here on the weekends. Though the overtime is nice, lol.

So, not much going on again today. I stopped by a couple of 7-11's on my way home to look for a little action figure dude for R. He's been collecting the Walking Dead Funko Pop toys and apparently there's one 7-11 exclusive that he hasn't been able to find. So I told him I would check the stores near my house. No luck though :-/ Got home and TK was asleep so I talked to TH at work for a while and went to bed around 10:30 or so. Got up at 6:00 and TK and I set up a Minecraft server for the newest version of Pixelmon (yay!) then made burgers and fries for dinner. TH got home and we had dinner, hung out for a while, and now I'm at work.

And it's Saturday night! Woohoo...yeah, no. So far though it's not as busy as it was last night so at least there's that. It's still overtime too. Apparently though it's been a really good driving weekend according to the guys on the FB page. And freaking Uber has been texting me all day going "get out and drive, it's super busy out there!!!" Fuckers.

So let's see. I got home this morning and everyone was asleep but TH woke up like 5 minutes after I got there. Sigh. So, I hung out with him for a while until TH and his buddy woke up and they got annoying so I went to bed, lol. TH mowed the yard and the fucking dogs barked all afternoon so I really didn't sleep very well again. Got up at 8:00, took a shower, and now I'm at work. Nobody cooked anything but I brought a can of soup with me. And that's pretty much it.

Holy fucking shit I had forgotten how fucking much I fucking hate fucking Fridays and Saturdays out here. It is so unbelievably busy that it's ridiculous. This is one of those nights that I hate every single person who comes through my gates and I want to punch them in their stupid little faces >:-( Doesn't help either that I'm freaking tired. I just need to try to remember that at least this is overtime. Although if I wasn't here I would be out driving and I would probably end up making more. Fuck I'm stupid sometimes :-/ Though I am doing my boss a favor by working so he doesn't have to. Fucker better appreciate it, lol.

So I got home this morning and TK was still awake so he went with me to do all of the shit I had to do. Got my oil changed, my car inspected, my registration renewed, and went by HEB. Got home around 10:00 and played a little GTA V with TK. I didn't end up going to bed until almost 2:00 and still didn't sleep very well. Sigh. Got up around 7:30 and hung out with TH for a little bit before time to come to work. TK's buddy came over to spend the night so TH stopped on his way home for a couple of Papa Murphy's pizzas. So I brought pizza to work with me :-)

So...I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I'm working this Friday and Saturday night :-( The good news is...that I'm working this Friday and Saturday night, lol. So boo to working 12 days in a row (at least) but yay to 16 hours of overtime! That plus the 4 that I got last week will make 20 hours of overtime on the next paycheck. So, yeah.

So TK was asleep when I got home this morning and TH was at work so I talked to him for a little bit then tried to go to bed. Had trouble falling asleep though - I don't think I managed to until almost 1:00 :-/ Got up at 7:00 and took a shower, hung out with TH and TK for a little bit, then headed to work. TH stopped and picked up Whataburger for him and TK for dinner so I stopped by Subway on my way here. Footlong Subway club = dinner tonight and breakfast tomorrow :-D And now I'm here. For some reason it's been pretty busy for a Thursday night. Dunno what's going on.

September 24

Holy crap I'm tired tonight. So I got off work this morning and went to eat breakfast with the guy who left to work for the club. I guess he really needs a name or something, huh? Let's call him R, lol. Ok so R and I met up after work and had breakfast tacos. Nom :-) Hung out for a while then went down to the church where the deputy's funeral was being held to see if any of our cop buddies were there. We talked to one of them who was on his way but never actually got a chance to see him. So basically we just hung out in the parking lot waiting for the funeral procession. They did a procession from the funeral home to the church that was supposed to start at 8:00, service started at 10:00, and then the procession back to the cemetery was going to start around noon or so. We watched the arrival procession, and yep I was right - it was fucking depressing :-( It was nice though, there were a ton of people there for the funeral and law enforcement officers from all over the state. Awesome show of respect for an awesome lady...

I think I finally left around 10:00 or so. The church is right up close to where I work so it took a little while to get home with all of the extra traffic. Plus I stopped to buy crackers and 7-up for TK because he was feeling pukey and gross. Got home and TK was awake but still feeling kinda crappy. Hung out with him for a little bit then went to bed around 2:00 or so. I slept until about 8:00. TH had fixed dinner for himself and TK because I still had the leftover breakfast for dinner that I forgot to take last night. So that worked. TK had been asleep again but was awake when I got up and he said he was actually feeling a little better! So hopefully it's not a serious sick or anything. And now I'm at work. Sigh. I'll find out for sure in the morning, but there's a pretty good chance that I might be working Friday and/or Saturday night here at work. Because since that last guy quit we have 40 hours that need to be filled. It could get...interesting, lol.

Oh, and tomorrow afternoon the city council is set to vote on whether or not to legalize Uber and Lyft! We might not be outlaws anymore, lol. I know the cab companies have been lobbying against it ($$$) but I'm kinda thinking that they almost have to vote in favor of it, especially since there's been so much discussion lately about keeping the streets safer and ways to reduce the number of DUI's. Doesn't hurt either that the chief of police and several city council members have spoken up saying that they're 100% for it. There's a rally at city hall beforehand and a bunch of Uber and Lyft drivers are going to be there. I kinda wanna go, because it seems like it would be good for me to get out and meet new people. But then on the other hand, I kinda don't wanna go because - get out and meet new people :-/ So I dunno...

Not much going on today. Got home this morning and TK was still awake so we stayed up for a while playing Pixelmon. Went to bed around 11:00 or so and got up at 8:00. For some reason I'm still pretty tired though :-/ TH made breakfast for dinner - sausage, eggs, and biscuits. And, I left it at home. Sigh. At least I have a can of soup here at work in case I get hungry.

Still nothing else said about the pissed off resident the other night. The guy who went to work down at the clubhouse actually went to the HOA meeting tonight but nobody even mentioned it, lol. They are talking about maybe splitting this little gated part of the neighborhood off into its own HOA, if they can get enough residents to vote for it. I'm not sure what that would really mean for us though. So we'll see what happens.

Oh, and tomorrow is the funeral for the deputy who was killed last week at the low-water crossing. The other guy here and I are trying to decide if we want to try to go or not. I'm kinda thinking that we might just go down and park somewhere along the route from the church to the cemetery and watch the procession. Either way it's going to be really fucking depressing :-(

Well, so far nothing has been said about the little incident here at work last night. When my boss got here this morning I told him all about it and he basically said, fuck those guys, don't worry about it. There's an HOA meeting tomorrow though so we'll see if anything comes from that. Hopefully not :-/ Oh and also, when I got here tonight one of the flex officers was here instead of the new guy who usually works Monday afternoons. Apparently he quit yesterday, lol. He had worked yesterday morning and was supposed to get off at 2:00 pm but there was some kind of mix-up with the schedule and nobody showed up to relieve him. So instead of calling our boss to come in so he could go home, he just opened up all of the gates and left. So that's why my boss ended up here yesterday afternoon wanting me to come in early. Oh, the drama, lol.

Other than that, not much going on today. I got off at 7:00 this morning which meant that traffic on the way home sucked fucking ass. Sigh. TH was at work though and I talked to him all the way home. So that was nice :-) Got home and TK was still awake so I hung out with him for a while, played a little Pixelmon, and went to bed around 11:00. Woke up at 6:00 just long enough to start the laundry (because I had forgotten to this morning) then went back to sleep until 8:00. Luckily TH remembered to put the clothes in the dryer so I had a clean uniform to wear tonight. And now I'm at work. Sigh.

Noms for the day: Didn't get a chance to log but not too bad. Pretty much leftover pizza, lol.

Worst thing: Ugh. Pick something. My feet hurt from standing outside for so long yesterday, I have a pissed off resident after me, and when I stopped for gas on the way home this morning I discovered that there was gum smeared all over the seat of my car. No idea where it came from but it was a bitch to remove >:-(

September 21

Holy fuck I'm tired tonight. One of the guys here at work called in sick this afternoon so I got here at 7:00 pm and I'm staying until 7:00 am. It has been busier than shit so far too. Plus I woke up early today and didn't have time for a nap. Sigh. I am totally ready to go. Only 6 1/2 hours left! Yay :-/

So Friday morning I stopped by Randall's on my way home because they had soup on sale. Got home and TK was awake so we went to HEB for a couple of things. Got home and played a little GTA V then took a nap until just after TH got home from work. He went to bed and I went out driving. I did really well! It was a nice busy night :-) Got home and hung out with TK for a while then went to bed.

September 18

So, it rained and stormed its freaking ass off almost all night last night. Luckily by the time I got ready to head home it had slacked off to just a light rain but we ended up with almost 6" overnight out here where I work! Almost all of the low water crossings were closed, lots of traffic lights were malfunctioning, and traffic on the way home fucking sucked. Sigh. It stormed a little more during the afternoon but since then it's basically just been a light, steady rain. I think it's supposed to be like this for the next day or so. Hopefully that means that when I go drive Friday night it will be nice and busy!

Got home this morning and TH was at work and TK was still awake so we went and checked a Walmart and a Target for the Transformer dude that TH wants but didn't have any luck :-/ Got home and played a little GTA V then went to bed around 11:00 or so. TH woke me up at 7:00 and he had made burgers and tater tots for dinner. So sweet :-) Hung out with them for a while and now I'm at work.

Worst thing: So last night during the storm a Sheriff's Deputy was driving around checking the low water crossings in the area and her car got washed away into the lake. They found her car but they haven't found her yet :-/ She was one of the ones who would come through here at work sometimes. She wasn't like, one of our buddy buddies, but she would always stop and chat with us a little bit :-(
