October 1

First day of October!! That means it's almost Halloween, lol. I'm hoping that this weekend we'll get a chance to put up our giant spider and the rest of our Halloween decorations. Cause they're totally awesome :-)

So let's see. I ended up getting busy last night and didn't have a chance to write. The crazy flex officer girl worked yesterday afternoon so after I got here she hung out and chatted until almost 11:30. One of our cop buddies came by and I stood outside with him for about another hour, then R. came through 3 or 4 times. So I had plenty of people to talk to last night, lol. Other than that not really much going on yesterday. Talked to TH on the way home then TK was still awake so we went by HEB for milk and a couple of things. Got home and stayed up later than we probably should have playing GTA V. Finally went to bed around 2:00 or so and got up at 8:00. Basically just did leftover type stuff for dinner. Work was cool, not too busy as far as traffic and everything. So that was nice.

This morning was pretty much the same idea. Talked to TH on the way home, hung out with TK and played a little GTA V, and managed to go to bed a little earlier than yesterday. Yay, lol. Got up at 7:00 and made chicken and fries for dinner, hung out with TH and TK for a little bit, and now I'm at work. I did almost get fucking sideswiped on the way here which was not cool >:-( So far tonight has been kinda crazy. Right after I went on duty I had 2 sheriff's cars and a fire truck come flying up. A few minutes later there was an ambulance and another sheriff. The guy I relieved said that 2 more sheriffs and another fire truck had come in about 5 minutes before I got there. They were all cops that I had never seen before so none of them stopped to say anything but from what I gathered from other sources (lol), it seems that a car managed to take out a light post further down in the community. Again. Seriously, this is like the 5th time this has happened just this year. These people drive way too fucking fast. Cause they're all important and in a hurry, don'tcha know? ◔_◔

So, yeah. What else? We're supposed to have a new guy coming in tomorrow morning to train so that he can start this weekend. As long as he shows up there's no chance that they'll ask me to work here so I'm free to drive! And it's going to be unbelievably crazy out there. There should be some serious $$ to be made. I just hope it doesn't drive me crazy to the point of "fuck it, I'm going home" first :-/

Oh yeah, and they have reported the first case of freaking Ebola in the United States. Right here in my state :-/ Right before a huge music festival that draws people from all over the world...

On the bright side though, I ordered some barf bags from Amazon that should be here by Friday. So I should be all set if someone yacks, lol.
