Ohhhh man. Kinda tired again tonight but not as bad as I thought I would be. And yep, they weren't kidding. It got freaking cold today, lol. It's like, 39 right now. I like it though :-) It probably wouldn't be quite as fun if I had to stand outside for the whole 8 hour shift but just running in and out all night like I do it's not too bad. I didn't even bother digging out my jacket. TH did insist that we turn on the heater at the house but by the time I left for work tonight it still hadn't come on yet. It's set for 70 and the house was still holding at 72. It's apparently pretty well insulated, lol.
So I stopped by HEB on my way home this morning to buy some dried beans. I had planned on starting a crockpot of beans last night to turn into chili for dinner tonight but the beans I had at home were...kinda gross :-/ I didn't think dried beans would really go bad but they just didn't seem right. So I tossed them and bought some new ones. Got home and TK was still awake so we played some Halo! And it was awesome :-) We played a couple of Halo 2 campaign missions and tried to play a little multiplayer but apparently they're having server issues right now. So that kinda sucked. They're working on it though so hopefully it will be up and running soon. I'm really liking what we've been able to play so far :-) Played that for a while, played a little COD AW, then went to bed around 1:00 or so. Got up at 7:30, hung out with TH for a while, started the beans (lol), and now I'm at work. Yay?

Holy crap I'm tired tonight. Nice and quiet at work though so that helps. It's cool and kinda breezy out right now but once the front comes through tomorrow morning it should be considerably cooler. I think they're calling for a high tomorrow of like 58 or so, and that should be right after midnight. Should be a nice day to stay home and play freaking Halo!!! And of course sleep and come back to work tomorrow night. Sigh.
So I got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH for a while then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Woke up when he got home and we all went running around for a little bit. We went to Gamestop and cancelled our preorders for The Master Chief Collection (since we went ahead and bought the digital version) and GTA V, since we're still holding out for the digital version. If we do end up having to buy the disks we'll probably get them from the Microsoft store because they're offering a $10 gift card with purchase. Hey, every little bit helps :-) Finished up there and went by HEB for a couple of things, got home and hung out for a while, then tried to take a quick nap but I couldn't fall asleep so I got up and played a little COD AW with TK. And now I'm at work, knowing that the MCC went live about an hour ago and I can't play it until I get home in the morning. Double sigh.

Sunday night, back at work. Yeehaw, lol. So far it's been pretty quiet, which is always nice. It's a little cool out tonight but by Tuesday morning they're calling for some seriously cold stuff to hit. I likes :-)
So let's see. Got home Friday morning and TK was still up so we had some breakfast and went to take care of the kitties. Finished up there and headed up to the security office so I could pick up my new security license. Stopped by the local Army/Navy surplus store because TK had never been there before. He was sooooo excited, lol. It's awesome! We bought a couple of dummy grenades and a 50 cal bullet. Oh, and an army green beanie hat for R here at work. Cause that's what he likes. On the way home we drove past the Ferrari place so we had to stop for a minute and drool over the cars. They were soooooo shiny. We also drove through the neighborhood I lived in when my parents and I first moved to town. I showed TK the Randall's I worked at for my first job, the 7-11 I worked at where TH and I met, and the apartments we lived in. My parents still lived there for 2 or 3 years after TK was born so he had been there when he was little. He actually kind of remembered the apartment building, because when we pulled up to it he asked if it was the place with the sidewalk that had handprints and cat footprints in it. So that was pretty cool :-) Got home and played a little COD Advanced Warfare, which is freaking awesome!! TH got home and we had Hot Pockets for dinner and watched a couple of episodes of Chuck. It's turning out to be pretty good! I hadn't had a nap or anything so I went on to bed when TH did.

Finally Thursday night! And holy freaking shit I am tired tonight :-/ It could be worse though because I almost ended up having to come in to work early tonight. The other girl here at work got stung by a wasp earlier today so she freaked out and called the big boss. He called me around 4:30 or so and I told him that I could come in early if he needed me to but it probably wouldn't be until at least 8:00 because I still needed to sleep. He managed to get ahold of one of the other guys though so it all worked out. Yay, lol.
So I got home this morning and TK was asleep so I chatted with TH at work for a little bit then went on to bed. Woke up around 12:30 and TK and I went to Walmart to pick up a couple of grocery type things and a new powerstrip, then went to Gamestop and bought 2 Xbox Ones! More on that in a minute, lol. As we were leaving Gamestop there was a guy in a pickup who had broken down right in the middle of the exit driveway leading out to the frontage road and everyone was just driving around him like he wasn't even there. We stopped and helped him push his truck down about a block to get it over on a side street :-) Got home and made chili cheese tater tots for dinner, started setting up the Xboxes, and hung out with TH for a little bit. I tried to take another quick nap but it didn't really work. Sigh.

Wednesday night! Almost finished for the week :-) Seems like it's been a long week for some reason. Dunno why. It started raining before I came to work last night and has pretty much rained nonstop ever since. Nothing heavy though, just a nice soaking rain. So that's cool.
So I got busy last night and didn't get a chance to write but there's really not much going on so I guess it's not really that big of a deal, lol. Basically just work, sleep, hanging out with TH and TK, and coming back to work. So...yeah. I did meet the new girl here at work tonight. She seems nice enough but I don't know how long she'll be around. She said she's already told the big boss she wants to find something closer to her house so she doesn't have to drive as far. So I guess we'll see what happens.

Not really much going on today. It's been pretty slow at work so far. That's always nice :-) There's been a really light, steady drizzle ever since I got to work tonight. Just barely enough to get the roads kinda wet. Tomorrow afternoon it's supposed to start raining and pretty much rain through Wednesday night. Some models are calling for as much as 4"-5" in places. Could get interesting...
So I went online on the way home this morning but didn't manage to get any rides. Maybe if I had hung out for a while I could have snagged something but I was kinda ready to just go home. TK was asleep when I got there so I talked to TH at work for a little while then went to bed around 9:00 or so. Got up at 4:00, hung out with TH and TK, made some beef noodle stew type stuff and cornbread for dinner, watched the first episode of Chuck with TH, took a shower, and now I'm at work. Yay, lol. I'm thinking if TK is awake in the morning and it's not raining we might go hiking and/or go feed the ducks. Dunno yet though.

Sunday night, back at work. It's nice and cool out tonight, too. We ended up messing around all day and I never did get a nap so I'm kinda tired but not too bad. So far it's been pretty slow here at work. There was a big racing event thingie in town this weekend and today was the last day so I kinda expected it to be a little busier than normal. Guess not, though. Traffic wasn't really too bad either so that was kinda weird. Nice, but weird, lol.
So let's see. Friday morning I stopped on the way home for coffee and breakfast tacos. TK was still awake so we ate breakfast then went to go do the kitty thing. We were there for a couple of hours cleaning the cages and playing with the kitties. It was awesome :-) There were a few of the same kitties as before but also a few new ones. Including a set of little Siamese brothers who were soooooo freaking adorable!! Ahem. Finished up there and went by Gamestop to look around. We're still kinda seriously thinking about the whole Xbox One thing :-) Stopped by Target to look at toys and stuff and picked up some frozen pizza and frozen wings for dinner, Got home and hung out for a while, played some GTA V until TH got home, then made dinner. TK's buddy came over and we watched an episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. while we waited for the Trick or Treating dudes to start showing up. Once it got dark we sat out on the porch handing out candy and eating vodka gummy bears. And being silly :-) It was fun! Once we had handed out all of the candy we went inside and hung out for a while then TH and I went to bed and the boys stayed up for a while.
