Bored. Unbelievably bored. Eh. So we didn't go swimming today because TH didn't feel like it. Sigh. Went home and hung out with him for a while, then slept kinda late. Got up and played a few games of zombies with TK before I came to work. At least it's Wednesday night though, so only one more night. Yay! TH did go buy a bottle of vodka for me so we got the gummy bears started today. Hopefully they'll be ready by Friday night! I forget how long it takes to make them :-/

So last night I got to talking to my patrol guy buddy who comes through every night. He said that one of their guys is leaving soon so they're looking for a replacement. I...think I might actually be interested. I'm not sure what it pays but it almost has to pay a little better than this site does. I know it's not any less, at least. He seemed to think I might be able to kinda keep the same schedule and everything. That or work 4 of the same days but 10 hour shifts and that way I would have 3 days off! I'm going to talk to him a little more tonight and see if I can get more details. It sounds like it would be more exciting than just sitting here all night staring out the window and shit. As long as I was taking classes (and actually studying), the quiet nights here were awesome. Now I'm pretty much just bored all of the time. Hmmm, it's definitely something to think about!

July 9

This whole week has been screwed up. I'm back at work after being off last night so it kinda feels like a Sunday, but it's Tuesday. So only 3 days until my weekend this week. Yay! Everything is back to normal now though, thank FSM.

So I got home Saturday and went to bed kinda early. Slept for a while then TK and I went to HEB and Papa Murphy's to pick up the pizza. Played some Black Ops 2 then cooked the pizza before TH got home. We watched Identity Thief. I enjoyed it. It was actually pretty funny! Hung out with TH until he went to bed then stayed up and played zombies with TK for a while. Didn't really do anything Sunday, just slept kinda late and then came to work. Monday I went home and took a nap, then got up and played with TK until TH got home. Made veggie burgers and fries for dinner then TH and I watched the first Hellraiser movie. Pretty fucking creepy. TH went to bed and TK and I stayed up playing zombies for a while. Tuesday morning we got up kinda early and made breakfast, then TH went to work and I took a nap. Now I'm at work. Woohoo. I think tomorrow we're going to try to go swimming, so TH can go too. Hopefully.

Not much going on tonight. So far it's been a little busy but not anything like the last few days. I guess maybe everyone is worn out and sleeping it off or something. Dunno. Whatever it is, it works for me. I am all screwed up today though because it just doesn't feel like Friday. Monday is gonna be all weird too because I won't be going to work when I normally should. Then everything is back to normal. Yay.

So I went home this morning and stayed up for just a little while hanging out with TH. Went to bed and slept kinda late, then got up and played some zombies with TK. We decided to wait until tomorrow to go swimming. Hopefully it won't be too crowded. We need to go by HEB too since we're out of freaking everything. Then we'll pick up the pizza and have it ready when TH gets home for movie night! We haven't done pizza in a while so it will be good :-) Pizza, beer, and movie night! Then video games, then sleep. Because sleeeeeep, lol.

Eh, dunno what else. I have a movie to watch but don't really feel like it. Probably just sit here with my thumb up my butt or whatever until it's time to go home :-)

Oh my holy fucking crap. And I thought it was busy last night :-/ I am going to be so glad when this night is over. I know all of the major fireworks displays were tonight so I guess that's where everyone went, and now they're all coming home. Because ho-ly fuckballs there are a lot of people out tonight. Lots of fireworks going off everywhere too, even though in theory they're illegal in the city limits and in the neighborhood I work in. Even at home before I left for work people had already started setting them off. Most of the kitties were hiding under the bed, too. They don't like fireworks either, lol.

So I went home this morning and played a few games of Black Ops 2 multiplayer before TH got up, then he watched me play a game of zombies. I got a chance to play 2 of the new maps! One of them, Rush, is set in a paintball field and the way it is laid out kinda reminds me of a cross between Studio and Grind (from the earlier map packs). The other one, Uplink, is a remake of Summit from Black Ops. It's kind of like a factory setting or something, it's hard to tell. The cool thing about it though is that it rains! But then again I am easily amused :-)

July 3

Well...I'm tired, my feet hurt, my eyes burn, and so far it has been busier than fuck at work, but I don't care. I had fun today :-) Went home and went to bed pretty early then got up and we went swimming! TK's buddy and his little sister went with us, so that was fun. We stayed about 2 hours then dropped them off and went home for a while. I stopped at Subway on the way to work to get a sandwich for later. We stopped at Target and bought some more popper thingies, and TH and TK looked at the toys. Of course they both found something to buy, lol. We actually ended up missing most of the fireworks show though. It was supposed to start at 9:30 but I got here at like 9:23 and it was almost over. So that kinda sucks. I did get to see a little bit of it as I was driving in so at least that was something. The guy here at work had invited his roomates and their kid to come see the fireworks, and the guy who set up the fish tank was here too. It was neat :-) TH and TK hung out for just a little while then headed home to play with their toys. They stopped at Taco Bell for dinner. And again - holy shit it is busy!

Tomorrow I'm thinking I'll probably go to bed a little early again if I can, then just get up and play with TK. TH has to go work the pool from 7-9 so I'm thinking about taking TK and leaving for work a little early again to see if we can catch some more fireworks somewhere. Then TH can pick him up when he heads home. Dunno yet. I found out for sure that I have to work Friday night so I'm not terribly excited about that. It's just going to make it a weird weekend because I'll work Friday, be off Saturday, work Sunday, then be off Monday. Then everything's back to normal. Oh well, lol.

Not much going on again today. Went home and stayed up later than I had planned to hanging out with TH, so I slept a little late and we decided not to go swimming. TK didn't really mind because the new map pack for Black Ops 2 came out today so he was happy to just stay home and mess with that. Got up and played a quick game of zombies with him on the new map. It's called Buried, and it's actually pretty cool. It's basically an old mining town that is (duh) buried, so there are lots of tunnels and buildings and stuff to explore. I haven't had a chance to try any of the new multiplayer maps yet. Hopefully this weekend! TH got home and I made soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. And now I'm at work. And it's busy. Sigh.

We are definitely going to go swimming tomorrow. TK is going to call his buddy and see if he and his sister want to go, too. That will give TK someone else to play with besides me, lol. Then FIREWORKS!! We get paid tomorrow, thank FSM. I will be stopping for gas on the way home in the morning. Hopefully after we pay everything this time we won't be super broke :-/

Well, I'm tired tonight but it's a good kind of tired. Went home this morning and hung out with TH for a little bit then went to bed kinda early. Woke up at 4:00, and TK and I went swimming again! Pretty much the same as last Friday. We got there around 5 and swam for 2 hours, then went home and played a game of zombies and hung out with TH til it was time to go to work. It was cooler today, only about 93 instead of the 105 that it was a few days ago. That was nice :-) The pool wasn't as crowded, either. We might go back tomorrow, not sure yet though. We definitely want to go Wednesday so TH can go, too. Then Wednesday night the clubhouse near where I work is having their fireworks show so we’ll go early and watch that. Should be fun!

Dunno what else. I’m definitely getting some decent exercise by going swimming. We actually swam a couple of laps, but then the whole time I’m in the water I’m constantly moving, too. My everything is kinda tired but I feel really good! I dunno, everything is just good right now. Well, not everything I guess, but still. I think I’m actually happy right now! It’s nice :-) Only problem is that in the very back of my mind I can’t help but think that I’m just waiting for something to go wrong :-/ I need to try to get over that.
